The Inaugural D-10 High School Invitational and Competition
DEADLINE EXTENDED!
Work can be dropped off at the Bruce Gallery during the following hours:
Week of March 1-5
12-7 pm, Monday Through Thursday, March 1-4 (at Bruce Gallery)
9-4:30 pm March 5 (Friday) at Art Office (Second Floor Doucette Hall)

Week of March 8-12 (Monday through Friday)
9 am-4:30 pm at Art Office (Second Floor Doucette Hall)

The new format replaces the Edinboro High School Biennial, which has been a mainstay of the Bruce Gallery Seasons for many years. The new exhibition provides a format whereby teachers are able to honor their own students by choosing  them for this exhibition. By introducing the tie-in, to the District 10, we hope to stress the importance of the visual arts as being analogous to the importance of our region's excellent high school sports leagues, and bring this same competitive spirit to the arts in a way that honors achievement in a similar vein.

Each school will be allowed to submit three student works (from different students), and teachers and applicants will be chosen for awards from amongst that pool. Inclusion in the show, however, is an achievement in and of itself, and each student will receive a hand-made award.

AWARDS CEREMONY AT 8:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17
